Dropping Support for Outdated Browsers

VKontakte begins displaying upgrade notifications to users of outdated browsers like Internet Explorer 6, with plans to extend warnings to other legacy browser versions.

Starting today, all pages on the VKontakte social network that are opened in outdated browsers will display a prompt to install a more modern browser. Over 500,000 users of Internet Explorer 6 (and below) will see this notification daily.
